House Groups
House Groups give us the chance to get to know a small group of people better and enable us to ask questions and actively take part in studying the Bible, praying and worshipping God, all of which help us to grow in our faith.
- They also offer pastoral support and different ways of reaching out to others.
- Each group has a different style so hopefully you will find one that suits you.
- We would also be interested to hear from those who wish to host or lead a group!

Activities for Children & Young People
Christ Church offers a full range of activities for children and young people. Our full-time Youth Pastor, Lynne, provides pastoral support to our young people and works in schools for the good of the local community. Alongside Lynne, we have a large team of trained volunteers adhering to Child Protection guidelines. We offer the following:
TODDLER GROUP

£2 which includes a hot drink and a lunch for you and lunch for your toddler. (Session Two).
CRECHE
A crèche with toys will be available during the 10am Sunday service (in the carpeted room in the ‘Church Centre’, attached to the church building) so that parents have the option to drop their little one off at the start of the service or bring the child out and stay with them if they prefer. A live TV link to the church service is provided.
If you can help with running the creche on a rota basis, please contact the church office.
The first Sunday of the month and throughout the summer, church services are ‘All-age’ so if you want to try Christ Church as a family, that is a good time to stay and see what happens.
JAM (Jesus and Me)
This is our Sunday morning group for school years R to 6. It starts at 10am and finishes at around 11.30am. (Children leave to go to their groups during the first part of the 10am church service.)
Activities include games, crafts, songs, drama – all aimed at having fun and learning about Jesus!
If you want, you can drop your children off and collect them after church or stay at the service and enjoy Sunday morning worship.
FOOTFINDERS
Our Sunday morning group for secondary school children, Footfinders (there is a long story behind this name – just ask!) offers a varied programme and enables young people to express their views and develop their own understanding while having fun and enjoying friendships.

Flowers can be donated in memory of a loved one, or for an anniversary etc. This is via the Flower Guild. Please contact us for more details.
